I led the content optimization and growth strategy for the Instagram account @muypocojapones, focusing on breaking follower stagnation and restoring scalable audience growth. The project combined strategic scripting, performance-driven content planning, and dynamic video editing to improve retention, increase reach, and unlock viral potential within the language-learning niche.
My role involved developing storytelling frameworks tailored to short-form video, restructuring content strategy around audience psychology, and executing editing techniques designed to enhance pacing, clarity, and viewer engagement.
01. The Challenge
The account experienced a growth plateau characterized by declining reach, limited discoverability, and inconsistent engagement metrics. Content lacked a retention-focused structure, reducing watch time and algorithmic distribution. Additionally, videos did not fully leverage storytelling techniques capable of transforming educational material into highly engaging short-form content, limiting viral potential and follower acquisition.
02. The Solutions and Results
To address these challenges, I implemented a strategic content reset built around high-retention scripting, narrative-driven short-form video formats, and dynamic editing optimized for attention capture. Scripts were redesigned to introduce stronger hooks, curiosity-driven storytelling, and clear value delivery, while editing enhancements improved pacing and visual engagement. Continuous performance analysis enabled rapid iteration and identification of scalable content patterns.
This integrated approach successfully broke the growth plateau, resulting in +20K new followers within the first month and multiple videos achieving millions of views, significantly improving reach, engagement, and overall account momentum.
