Project Overview
I supported the growth and content optimization of the Instagram account @toysparkmurcia through a targeted short-form content strategy focused on thumbnail design, Reels production, caption optimization, and hashtag research. The objective was to increase discoverability, improve click-through rates, and generate rapid reach within a competitive entertainment and family-oriented niche.
My role involved creating visually compelling thumbnails to capture attention in-feed, structuring Reels around retention-driven storytelling, and developing caption and hashtag frameworks designed to enhance algorithmic distribution and audience engagement.
01. The Challenge
The account faced limitations in organic reach due to inconsistent visual hooks, under-optimized captions, and ineffective hashtag usage. Video content lacked a clear retention structure, reducing watch time and limiting the potential for viral distribution. Additionally, the account needed a scalable content approach capable of generating rapid visibility while maintaining brand consistency.
02. The Solutions and Results
To address these challenges, I implemented a performance-driven content system built around thumbnail psychology, short-form video optimization, and strategic metadata usage. Thumbnails were designed to maximize curiosity and improve click-through rates, while Reels were structured with strong opening hooks and dynamic pacing to increase retention. Captions and hashtags were optimized through niche keyword targeting and engagement triggers to expand reach and improve discoverability.
This integrated strategy delivered rapid performance improvements, generating over 100K views within two weeks, increasing content reach, and establishing a repeatable framework for scalable growth and consistent visibility.
